How can I connect my Xbox console to PC

Hello,

I have a XBOX ONE S, got it 3 years ago. Last week, my smart TV had an update error, so I had to take it to fix it. I heard that it is possible to play with the console on PC, however my console can't connect to the XBOX Console Companion app. It sais it couldn't find the IP Address. I downloaded an IP Scanner app, connected my Console to the internet with an ethernet cabel, scanned the IP address and if I type it to the companion app, it still sais the same error.

What should I do? They said it's probably 2-3 weeks till I got my TV back, I have tons of games on my Xbox. Is it possible to fix it? I know in the network settings on the console you have set something, but I can't connect my console to anything, so I can't go to my settings.

One more question. I did a hard reset on my network, and with a ethernet cabel I succesfully connected my Xbox to my PC Xbox Companion. However, if I click on Stream, I got a message: "To continue, login to your console using this account."

I don't know what's the problem, I'm always logged in, and I guess I should use my TV to log in succesfully. Any method to do it on my laptop?

Both Xbox console and Laptop have HDMI output which means that it needs an HDMI input that can be found with TV’s and monitors.

Well, I do have an HDMI input on my laptop, cause I have a projector as well. No way to share it on my laptop?
