    How can I change the auto. signin preferences on my old xbox one via xbox.com site


    I have arranged for my old xbox one console to be swapped for a new one due to technical reasons. It is not in my possession now. I forgot to perform a factory reset or at least change the auto. signin settings.

    I would like to be able to change my profile setting via the xbox one website to force anyone who turns the old console on to get prompted for a password prior to logging in. Can this be done?

    G'day mate, I suggest checking your sign-in preferences as maybe they've accidently been cleared when re-downloading the profile or something, see here for full steps on how to change:

    Hi jenkinsnmilw,

    First i would like to thank you for your post today and I understand you concerns of your account security.

    I would recommend changing your account password for your Xbox Live via xbox.com, once you have changed your password, all consoles that have your password will ask for the new account password that you have changed as this will stop anyone accessing
    your account.
