    Сan I somehow change my nickname or return to the first option. I can't pay for my nickname change because I live in Ukraine and payment methods are not available here.

    You would not be able to choose your new tag without paying if that`s what your asking, Even if they did issue a forced change, they would give you a randomly generated tag.
