I made my account about 10 years ago and at that time i didnt bother with the kind of email i used ,so i used my old videotron email ,how can i change it

Remove Gamertag

My princible email is L: *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** which I setup my new Nokia Lumia 900 Phone, but my Gamer tag is on another hotmail,com adress.. how can I delete or remove my gamertag so I can re associate my other gamertag
to my principle Hotmail account?

Change the email address you use to sign in to your Microsoft account

Step 1: Add a new alias.

Sign in to your Microsoft account.

Select Your Info.

Select Manage your sign-in email or phone number.

Because of the sensitive nature of changing your alias, you'll be prompted to enter the code that we send to the email or phone number you listed in your account as security information. This lets us know the request is coming from you.

Select Add email alias.

If you don't already have an email address, select Create a new email address and add it as an alias. Follow the instructions.

If you have a non-Microsoft email address (such as a gmail.com or yahoo.com address) that you want to use, select Add an existing email address as a Microsoft account alias. Then, clickAdd alias.

When you add an existing email address as a Microsoft account alias, you'll be required to verify that you own that account. To the right of the alias you added, click Verify, and we'll send a message to that email address to get confirmation.

Note The email address you enter cannot already be in use as a Microsoft account alias.

When you receive the email, click the link provided to verify that you own the account.

Step 2: Set the new email address as the primary alias.

After you set the new email address as your primary alias, that email address will be displayed as your Microsoft account alias when you sign in to all devices and services. Here's how to make this change:

Under Account alias, select aliases.

Click or tap Make primary under the alias that you want as primary.

Step 3: Remove the old email address you no longer want to use.

Select Remove next to the alias you want to remove. Follow the instructions provided.

Note It can take up to 48 hours for the change to your email address to be implemented on all Microsoft services. If you sign in to your Microsoft account on an Xbox One console by using your Kinect sensor, you might temporarily be asked to manually
sign in with a controller. If after two days you're still being asked to manually sign in, try removing your profile from the console and then adding it back.

The problem is i can't even connect im guessing i dont type the right password in that case i dont think i'l be able to do anything since the email is not a hotmail one .

Hello,

XBOX has a way to retrieve lost passwords. Though depending on the security set it may email it to the email account. Not handy at times. At other times if you can answer some simple questions it can lead you through it.

Thats not good at all. Has the email been discontinued? If so try contacting the email provider to see if they can reinstate it temporarily so you can log in and change it?
