    How can I cancel my Destiny Pre-Order on XBOX ONE?


    How can I cancel my Destiny pre-order on xbox one? I want to take advantage of the free next gen upgrade:
    http://www.destinythegame.com/digital-upgrade but I have already pre-ordered on the XBOX ONE.

    @Auswolf7, I've pre-ordered Destiny with Amazon, but don't have to pay for the product until it is being packaged so not until a few days before release/delivery. I can still cancel my pre-order up until about a week before release/delivery. I assume everyone
    could therefore place a pre-order, get the code, then cancel the pre-order? Doesn't personally bother me, but just curious as to how this would work?

    If you ordered the digital version through the Xbox Marketplace you have already been charged for the game so you would need to contact Xbox Support -
    support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

    Select Request a Call from Support on that page.

    As it is a billing item you would need to have someone on the phone usually to carry out such a process and not the online chat.

    I canceled my pre-order at Gamestop last week and this morning when I got up I pre-ordered and pre-downloaded the Destiny Digital Guardian Edition right from the Xbox Store.

    I did this and got my code for the armor in an email. After which I went to Gamestop and paid off my Destiny pre order and cancelled the COD one.
