How can I buy GTA V From the Market Place using both a credit card and a gift card.

To do a split payment you have to syart the purchase using the credit card and it will ask if you want to use the remaining funds in your account first. Keep in mind that you have to do this on the console and not all content can be purchased using that
method so there is a possibility your card will be charhed the full amount.

So why is it that you are not allowed to gift shark cards. You can gift anything else but shark Cards. I have unused credit in my microsoft account but the only thing played is gta v and i want to buy shark cards for that game. But I can only purchase
it for my own account. I cannot transfer it nor can I buy a gift card with my credit even tho I purchased the gift cards myself to put on the account. And now im being told GTA V SHARK CARDS CANNOT BE GIFTED !!! Why !!??!?! Please help

I have now found a way to buy games from microsoft by changing location and buying gift cards with my Thailand credit card. It works... GTA V is downloading as I write!

You can apply both gift cards to your account and they will combine as 1 Microsoft account credit. For example if you wanted to buy a game worth $100 but you had 2x $50 gift cards, you can apply both of the $50 gift cards and then purchase the game (as they will combine both gift cards into a single $100 account credit)

Alternatively, you can also apply gift cards to your account by opening up the Microsoft store app > Hovering over the menu > then select “redeem”.
