How can I buy Dark Souls?

I can find the game in the store (backward compatibility), but I don't see a price, but instead the button says "bundle only".

If I select this button and press A, I get the message "no bundle found".

My question is: How can I buy Dark Souls?

I am in Germany, and I tried both the German and the US store (by setting the region of my Xbox One to USA). Both behave exactly the same.

Dark Souls II easy.

Titanfall I don't really see the appeal of and given how impressive and engrossing Dark Souls is, I'm extremely keen on Dark Souls II.

Purchasing Dark Souls DLC on a Disk?

So I have Dark Souls on a disk, which I obviously play on my Xbox 360. My question is, how do I buy the DLC, Artorias of the Abyss? Or can I? It's on the online store for $15 I know, but if I buy it do I then have to buy Dark Souls on the online store in
order to play it, or will it load onto my disk version and I can play it that way? I can't seem to find anywhere that explains, and I don't want to waste $15.

Because it says "Download to Xbox 360".

I don't have a 360...

If I search for Dark Souls, I get this:

I would assume that I have to select the game that is listed under "Xbox One". And that one has "Bundle only" on the price button.

The 360 one (which your links are referring to) has a normal price caption. But I can't reach this game from the store on my Xbox One.

So if I buy the 360 version via web store, can I be sure that I can play it on my Xbox One afterwards?

 

Correct, Dark Souls is part of the xbox 360 backward compatibility list. If you purchase the game from the 360 xbox marketplace link, you will find the title in the games and apps section of xbox one "ready to install"

I tried it, but unfortunately it didn't work.

As soon as I hit "confirm", I get a message like "not available in your region" or "purchase could not be completed". The strange thing is, even in the German store, I get this message in English.

The same happens if I try to buy Witcher 2.

I tried it in the German, Austrian and US store (by setting my Xbox to each respective region rebooting each time), but in none of the three stores I could make the purchase. I have valid payment settings for DE, AT and US.

Is there a way to directly contact someone at Microsoft about this issue?

 

To purchase an xbox 360 game for games with BC you need a valid method of payment (like a credit card) linked to your account.
