    How can I bring awareness to Xbox regarding demand and adding Xbox support in Malaysia...


    Hey there, lately I have been doing research regarding the available of Xbox support in my country Malaysia and am confuse on why the Xbox is not support in a country where gaming is a huge trend.

    The evidence I have regarding gaming being a huge trend in Malaysia is that, the current revenue Malaysia's make in regards to gaming for the 2020 is 261m (USD) with about 8.1m users in a country with the population being on average 31m. That is roughly 25% of the country into gaming.

    Furthermore the PlayStation brand is heavily dominating the Malaysia's market especially with the PlayStation 4 era. Now I would like to clarify that during the Xbox 360 and Ps3 days, the competition was not as dominants as there were some level of Xbox support then. Thus bring me to my point, wouldn't this be an optimal market for Xbox to invest in now. The majority of Malaysian gamers are either pc or PlayStation users with a large chunk also being mobile gamers. With the launch of Xcloud and Game Pass making gaming affordable, wouldn't it be in Microsoft best interest to expand to this market and capitalize on the opportunity.

    That is why, I would like to seek your advice on how may I bring awareness to Microsoft regarding this matter. Currently I am writing a proposal filled with facts on the gaming landscape and opportunity within Malaysia and plan on starting up a petition page soon as well.

    Yes, Microsoft please bring Xbox One support to Malaysia. I am a user considering PS4 or Xbox One. If Xbox One support is available in Malaysia, I definitely will not go for the PS4.

Yes the North American Xbox account is mine, but I recently moved to Malaysia a few years ago and want to create a Malaysian Microsoft developer Program account as its more convenient for me. I'm aware Xbox isn't supported here in Malaysia, but the Developer Program is supported.

    I'm sorry, but based on the information I found on the support page, it's not possible to purchase the game pass for the console in Malaysia, only for PC. So, you could only play locally with the Xbox. As for the titles, those can always vary from country to country.
