How can I backup my saves on my Xbox One?

I'm going away for a month starting next week and agreed to lend my Xbox One to a friend. Seeing as his son will also most likely be using the console, as a precaution, I'd like to delete my profile from the Xbox before giving it to my friend. What's the
best way to do this without losing my game saves? With my 360, I remember I could just stick them on a usb stick however I hear that's not possible on Xbox One. Is it possible to utilize the cloud save storage option?

New to Xbox. Had a couple of questions.

Whats the benefit of making an xbox the home console?

Also, I went to play Guardian Heroes but it didnt save offline. Why?

How can I make sure to make my games save onto the system?

Also, how can I back up games and saves? Can I backup to a usb or sd card?

Backup system from xbox 360 to xbox one

Hello, I changed console to switch from xbox 360 to xbox one. I had a backup of the games just cause 2 on my xbox 360, so I activate the cloud on my same xbox 360 account on xbox one but I still do not have my backup just cause 2 of my xbox 360. I do not
want start all the game on my xbox one again.

How can I get my backup back?

Saves are automatically saved to the cloud to my knowledge, there is a local copy also that can be cleared.

Yeah,that's correct.You can delete the saves on the hard drive if you want as you'll still have copies of them on the cloud.

Search your storage device/devices, the game saves can be copied from one to another, I've also noticed when backing a game save from one device to another that there is usually a backup file of each save, so for my commando I have two files, one has the
commando's name, "Fat Bob", the other says "Backup of Fat Bob" or "Fat Bob Backup", something like that. If you have the backup file I would recommend contacting Gearbox Support, they are pretty good and would know how to recover this file I think.

About once a week I copy my game saves from the HDD to USB just in case something zaps a save.

Nice guide, but it doesn't help here ...

I'm trying to make a backup of my save games I played on game pass recently (Metro, Gears of War etc.)

And I cannot find any of those, so ... Where are they saved and how can I backup them for use later or on other PC and so on ....
