How can I avoid toxic people?

Hi, is there some networking feature that prevents me from being connected with toxic people? If not, is there a way to report toxic behavior like abusing exploits to get an advantage on other players? These people antagonize players in game and send a
message to goad someone into responding so they can report the responder for harassment or offensive language when, in fact, it was the reporter that had instigated and aggravated the issue. I'm tired of encountering this kind of person and I receive the "corrective
action" for defending myself. Outside of xbox, in the real world, the instigator is held accountable for their actions as well as the perpetrator. Both parties are at fault. I feel like the communication between two accounts is not looked at entirely and it's
simply a single message that is flagged. The simple solution is that I just shouldn't play competitive online games like: Smite, Battlefield, For Honor; but in that scenario I might as well not even have online as I'll mostly be playing solo anyway. I think
there needs to be a report option for people that exhibit antagonizing, harrassing behavior in game so that they can all be grouped together and all the people with integrity can be in the same pool. I remember back on xbox 360 you could identity yourself
as a competitive player, an underground, or cheap, player and lastly a family player that's just there to enjoy the game; nothing serious.

Right, I was hoping to get to that but being he provided no evidence or reasons for saying that, I figured it was just some hyperbolic rant.

I got on avoid me for no reason I suggested that we run a different team comp then the original asked nicely if we could switch it up had the whole team report me just so I can not play no more I just recommmened it no need to be toxic about it I didn't
care if we lose the game I just wanted switch up the gameplay by suggest what we needed and now I check my account says I'm good I'm Not on avoid me I but I check on my Xbox it's on avoid me I'm not toxic I just want to win so I give tip since I'm a top player
and I speak calm and ice but I get on avoid me

 

If someone harasses you online just report that person or block him from further abuse

This absolutely is the best advice! Don't engage them, don't sink to their level. Just report and block. Blocking them helps to avoid these people in the future. If in the event, you just don't like what their saying but it isn't breaking any rules you can
mute people in almost every game.

 

I agree, this is the best advice. Just do not respond back, report and block them.

 

It’s rare, but if I run into toxic people I just completely blank them out. I also block them so I don’t get matched up with them later.
