How can I appeal a permanent Xbox Live suspension caused by a phishing attack?

Dear Microsoft Community,

I need help regarding a permanent suspension on my Xbox Live account.

My account was recently compromised through a phishing attack. I believe unauthorized individuals accessed it and engaged in activities that violated Xbox policies—actions that were done without my knowledge or consent.

As soon as I became aware of the situation, I took immediate steps to secure my account, including resetting my password and enabling two-factor authentication.

I’ve always respected Xbox's community guidelines and have no history of misconduct. I’m now looking for guidance on how I can appeal the suspension or get in touch with someone who can review the case in light of this compromise.

Additionally, is there a way to reactivate my Xbox Live Free subscription associated with the account, if the suspension is lifted?

Any advice or steps I should follow would be greatly appreciated.

Any Enforcement matters are handled by the Enforcement team. You need to sign in here and see if the suspension is appealable (permanent ones usually aren't):

I was wondering if I was to receive a permanent suspension or a suspension in general. Is it possible to make an appeal in 2019 at all. I have seen other post as this one but they are mostly older. I was wondering if there was a way on modern day

The majority of console bans are permanent & can't be appealed.

If it's a console suspension then you'll have to wait until the suspension is over.Console suspensions can not be appealed either.

Obsessive Power

A denial of service attack can disrupt your internet connection in your home. It can cause connection issues and slow downs.

However, there is no way in the world someone can 'Fry your router'. It's simply not possible. And such an attack will not damage your console either.

Note that just sending a threat to disrupt a connection while using Xbox Live would lead to permanent suspension for the person making the threat.

If you are ever subjected to such an attack, which, I might add, is done via a computer, a call to your internet provider can easily fix this.

The Xbox Live policy enforcement team is employed by Microsoft. and they Validate each and every permanent suspension. Regardless what your son tells you. They always validate before giving a permanent suspension. Once they issue a permanent suspension
and they say "Suspension will stand as issued" there decision is final and won't be overturned or appealed.

As Viral Cyrix mentioned. Once Permanently suspended its impossible to refund, re-download or recover the account. Once done you can't undo.
