how can i access x360 games on xbone

how can i access my xbox 360 game on my banned account that i purchased, the account is on my xbox but doesnt not let me sign in , so will it be there on the ready to download or is there an alternate step, now major nelosn said that i would still be able
to access even if its banned. please help get access to my games

X360 games on XBOne

Apologies if this is the incorrect forum.....

I am getting the kids and I an XBOne for Christmas. We have several physical copies of X360 titles don't yet appear to be backwards compatible. I would love to be able to play several of these on the XBOne, for example GTA V (me) and Minecraft (kids) come
to mind. It sounds like the only two ways to continue playing these titles is play them on my X360 or purchase them digitally on the XBOne. Correct? Has MS ever mentioned in the future they may allow you to purchase the XBOne version at a discounted price
if you already own the physical 360 version? It would just be nice not to fork over additional $$ if I already own the 360 version.

If I do purchase the XBOne digital version, will game saves from the 360 version transfer over?

X360 games on XBOne

1) No one over the age of 12 still refers to it as an "Xbone". Either Xbox One, One or X1 seem to be the norm.

2) There was a deal on purchasing the One version of Minecraft if you owned the 360 version. I'm not sure if the deal still exists though. (It's been about 15 months since I bought it.) Also should mention that any sort of deals being offered are done
by the publisher of the game, not MS.

3) I highly doubt GTA V and/or Minecraft will ever be backwards compatible due to their separate releases on the One. It doesn't make sense from a business standpoint.

There seems to be some confusion between what Major Nelson said and the actual Terms of Service/Code of Conduct. I believe it still remains that any games purchased digitally on a banned Xbox account are also banned, and cannot be re-downloaded.

Hopefully others can clarify this a bit better.

So if you have any digital content and then your account is perma-banned. You lose all digital content you may have purchased including any gold time. I think what he might be referring to is if you have 360 games on discs then you would be able to play
them . Please note - there are only a handful of 360 games available to play currently. Also only preview members have access to the emulator currently. Although I suspect you would be able to play any disc content you would still be prevented from playing
any online content due to your ban.

 

yah but that kind of werid that the head of Microsoft programming said that we have access, and i dont think that they should make mistakes or be confused
