How can I access Minecraft Launcher without needing permission from Microsoft Family

I recently bought Minecraft and wasn't able to start the game due to needing permission from the parental account of Microsoft Family. I tried sending an email to the "Adult" but no one in my family had got the email thus not allowing me to play my game. I've tried many methods in being able to play this game, for example I made a new Microsoft account in which I am not apart of a family and yet it still ask's me to get permission from an adult even though my new Microsoft account isn't apart of any family. I have tried many ways but it all just comes down with the same problem, It want's me to ask permission to access Minecraft Launcher from an adult in the Microsoft family making me send an email and once I do press to send a email it says that it isn't working . Could you please allow me to access the Minecraft Launcher without asking permission from a Microsoft Family because I don't want to waste my money. Thanks

Hi Kayn!

The restriction may be applied to the account you used to sign in with the Windows user you're currently using. Check the account via the PC Setings > 'Accounts' section.

You may also switch to a local user if possible.

In regard to your family settings, please ask the adult or organizer of the family to go to https://family.microsoft.com/ > click your profile > go to Content filters > under Apps & games be sure to allow Minecraft and/or change your app/game rating.

After you have allowed Minecraft in Family Settings you will need to log out from your MS account in Minecraft Launcher.
Then log back in and your account permissions should be refreshed.

Here are some steps you can try to fix it:

- Make sure you have the latest version of the Minecraft Launcher installed on your PC.

- Check your Microsoft Family settings and make sure you have permission to use the Minecraft Launcher app. You can do this by going to https://account.microsoft.com/family/ and signing in with your Microsoft account. If you don't see the Minecraft Launcher app listed, you may need to ask an adult in your family to add it to your allowed apps.

- If you have permission to use the Minecraft Launcher app, try signing out and signing back in to your Xbox Live account on the launcher. You can do this by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner and selecting "Sign out". Then, click on "Sign in" and enter your Xbox Live credentials.

Sorry but I'm trying to access this through the launcher. Can you please inform me on how to disable the family settings first due to the family sharing disabling me from accessing java.
