    How can core services be up and running if Social and gaming are having trouble?


    How can core services be up and running if Social and gaming are having trouble? Surely this is what an Xbox is for. If I wanted to stream movies or purchase a game I would do it on my computer. you would think that a company as big as Microsoft would have
    the most stable network going considering how much it relies on the internet and cloud services. But there again it's not about the customer it's about the money they can make.

    Now I'm showing service issues on my network settings for social and gaming and core services. Why are we having to sync with the cloud to play games? Shouldn't the saves be on the hard drive?

    You should be OK to set up your console. I haven't had any connection problems for the last day or so on social or gaming.

    Neither of those should affect you. You need Core Services to be running to set up your console.

    i agree, I'm getting pretty tired of PAYING for a membership and it always has something wrong with it. if its not the core service, its social and gaming. if its not social and gaming, its core services. getting a little annoying at this point
