How are you liking Advanced Warfare?

Yeah I've noticed that the lag has gotten better too. Almost as stable and lag-free as PSN. Everyone's pings seem to still be jumping around though. On PSN everything is perfect and everyone has good ping. So I think it's an issue with XBL. Microsoft needs
to do something about their terrible cheap servers. They bad.

Edit* Also, you've got some clips of Advanced Warfare, but for some reason when you compare games, Advanced Warfare doesn't come up anywhere...

 

It's because I don't have any achievements unlocked for it. I haven't touched the singleplayer and I don't think there are any multiplayer achievements (and if there are I haven't unlocked them).

 

I'll comment on my early post about Ghosts. As much as I hated the game, it had a few things going for it, that I hope AW will implement in the near future. I really like that they added Gun Game. This was my favourite mode besides Free For All, in Black
Ops 1&2. Also the "Randomize Class" option was a cool little feature too.

A couple of weeks before AW released it did state that "Gun Game" was going to be in the list, however it's not. But it took Ghosts a few months to add it, hopefully AW will do the same.

 

No I don't think that's it. It doesn't seem to have any record on my Games either. Or any of my friends.

 

@aRaging, the gun game in ghost was the same as sharp shooting in BO2, neither of which I like, however I like the proper BO2 Gun Game, OIC and my favorite sticks and stones, all of which are missing.

Party games are also excellent when you waiting for people in a lobby, so quickly go to a custom match to waste time.

 

Today I stress-tested CoD:AW with my connection. I had friends play with me from Indiana and California. The former was great while the latter was a little bit less so. I also tried ground war, with more people, and it ran just fine for the most part.

I was hoping to stress-test it with someone from the UK, but nobody was available...

 

Well here's something weird, maybe a glitch? I chose to prestige and start again, I went from 1 to 14 in one round. Basically I chose the BAL, Here's where it went glitchy. Every time I got just one part of a challenge the screen would go mental and keep
giving me XP. So I get a headshot? It registers every head shot from pre-prestige. Basically, every time I did one thing that qualified as a cammo challenge it would bring up every award from the previous play through. Here's my theory, I was using the BAL
.308 my 1st play through, then I chose the regular BAL at prestige 1. It did exactly the same thing with the ASM, 1st play through I used the ASM Reliable, at prestige I chose the regular ASM. And again I'm being awarded for my challenges the second time.

I had a match today where I earned 5 bloodthirsty medals (which again, is earned for getting 5 kills without dying)! That's nuts! In TDM, the score goes to 75 kills - that means I had 25 kills, or 1/3rd of the total kills! That's nuts! Oh, I said that already...

I haven't played or purchased a COD game since the original Black Ops, which I enjoyed. Originally I wasn't even going to give Advanced Warfare a second of my time or money but I'll admit, having Kevin Spacey on board and the fact that it appeared they were
trying to add some life into the stale series eventually won me over.

The campaign is standard COD fair for the most part. The graphics are decent, the gameplay is solid, and of course Kevin Spacey is awesome. The story itself is just okay but the cutscenes are pretty cool. I also like how it follows just one guy this time
instead of jumping around following multiple people. I haven't played a lot of it yet but so far it's been enjoyable and I'm looking forward to finishing it which is more than I can say for a lot of games nowadays.

The multiplayer portion is where I've spent most of my time and I've got to admit, it's a lot of fun. I have a pretty decent internet connection (115 down/15 up) and haven't really experienced too much lag. I'd say a dozen or so games have had lag with only
a handful of them being "unplayable". My friends and I have had some issues joining each others games or getting kicked while searching for matches but it seems to have been fixed. The gameplay is a bit more fast paced and vertical this time around which I
like. The maps for the most part are pretty good and varied, although some are more generic then others. Once again, it's standard COD fair, but the few adjustments they've made do feel like it's made the game more fresh and exciting. The co-op mode is also
quite fun but it's nothing unique or game changing. I'll definitely be playing more multiplayer, it's pulled me away from Titanfall and Destiny for the time being.

For people who like numerical scores, I'd give COD: Advanced Warfare a solid 7.5 out of 10.
