How are people selling XB1 consoles for less than £220 on eBay?

So a friend of mine said to me today people are selling XB1 consoles for less than £220 on eBay today. At fist I didn't believe him but after checking he is correct. In fact there is a lot on there. But there is a catch there all brand new but no power supply
or controller or kinect. How have these sellers gotten brand new consoles to sell without the other parts?

I was going to get one at that price as you can get a PSU for £20 and a controller for £40 so it would work out what £280 for a XB1? Sure no Kinect but who cares about that? Am not sure what to do there is only 3 titles out for the xb1 I want to play (dead
rising,forza,pvz). At the moment my head is saying to is but my heart/gut is saying don't. I may leave it for now as cash generator had a day one edition with fighter within for £315 the other day.

Don't always believe what you hear or read

Fact of the matter is overall MS stock surged less than 2weeks ago based almost solely on xb1 sales..... so that means at the very least the company is meeting sales expectations.

That fact seems to get lost instead just all this discussion of how the ps4 is currently selling better. It is possible to have 2 consoles and both sell well. From everything I've read tells me the xb1 is selling fine.

@BloodFrenzy They never said that. Heck when it started on 360 people were hoping it would extend to XB1 so I don't know how that's a selling point for XB1.

They did say after the release of XB1 that it was coming to XB1 with details in 2014. Either you are misconstruing the last part or you had some bad info.

Its not that they have these consoles without the parts you mentioned. They simply took them out of the bundle and plan to sell separately too make a profit.

If you want an xbox or a playstation my suggestion to you is this.

Buy from a licensed retailer. You may thank yourself later if anything goes wrong.

These cards youre talking about, are you talking about buying from ebay ? Ive never really purchased something like that on ebay, haha. I really cant imagine why people would sell them for anything less than what theyre worth either.
