    How are MyChallenges tracked?


    For "Gold Dust" 10 hours playing a featured "Games with Gold" does the time tracked in each games "Game Hub" under Stats. Is that the correct time? How am I suppose to know what month/week a MyChallenges is currently on. Or for that matter when a month/week
    is completed? "In The Mix" for instance starts at 4 weeks, but end with 26 weeks straight. 26 weeks in a row is HARDCORE, and "weeks straight" means missing week 25 starts Challenge over. "Gold Dust" "Motherlode" is 12 months IN A ROW, so punchcards/trackers
    would be nice.

    Are Challenges tracking Correct?

    Hello XxMavr1kxX,

    Since Gems were only created as a new feature to Xbox Live Rewards on October 1st, it is not possible to be Rewarded for activity before that date:

    What are MyChallenges?



    MyChallenges are a new way to earn by completing certain tasks, like having an active Xbox Live Gold subscription or pre-ordering digital games from the Microsoft Store. For every challenge you complete, you’ll earn a Reward of MyVIP Gems and a badge
    to show off your achievement on your MyRewards page.


    Your progress towards MyChallenges will start tracking as of October 1, 2017.



    The only challenge that you have completed since this feature started in October is the pre-order "Early Bird" MyChallenge. Regarding your Early Bird MyChallenge completion, we see that you have still not claimed this on your MyRewards page. From the FAQ:

    How will I collect my Reward for completing a MyChallenge?



    Once you’ve completed a MyChallenge, we’ll send you an email letting you know you’ve unlocked a MyVIP Perk. You’ll then have 60 days to claim your Reward of MyVIP Gems in the MyVIP Perks and Gems section of your MyRewards
    page    . You’ll also be able to see any MyChallenges badges you’ve earned on the MyRewards page as well.

    You can time your gameplay, and once it is completed, it will show up as a claimable perk on your MyRewards page. If you do not believe you were tracked correctly, you can open a post and we can investigate.

    The MyChallenges will begin tracking from October, when MyChallenges and Gems were first created. If you have an existing subscription, it will begin counting that from last month onward.

    Since Gems/MyChallenges were only created and introduced as a feature in October, it is not possible to track activity done before they existed.

    We see that the Golden Child challenge is currently pending on your MyRewards page. Regarding the Game Pass challenge, that offer began tracking in November, so it would be possible to have 90 days of consecutive active Game Pass at this point in time. From
    the FAQ:

    Xbox Game Pass

    Your progress towards the Xbox Game Pass MyChallenge will start tracking as of November 1, 2017.

    Regarding the consecutive survey challenge, we see that is also pending on your MyRewards page. Keep in mind that all MyChallenges must be claimed, as stated in the FAQ:
