How am I indefinitely banned on my account when i just made it?

I made an account yesterday afternoon i went to sleep and woke up with an indefinite suspension on the account since it was new it had no prior strikes. Now all accounts are unable to access the xbox network the email sent states “The Xbox Safety team has found that recent behavior by the Xbox profile based on your email address violated one or more terms of the Community Standards for Xbox or Microsoft Services Agreement.” How could my email cause a ban? Is there anyway I can get access back and fix this other than the appeal which has already been submitted.

no I'm sorry you only get one shot

What that message likely means is that one of your other accounts misbehaved and they're looking at this as ban dodging or they're banning all the accounts associated with that email address

The only way to revert it is via the appeal, you need to wait for the response from the Enforcement Team.

Once it arrives they will give you more details about the suspension.

Yet my account says indefinite I literally didn't do ANYTHING. Why is Xbox so harsh on the bans lately I've tried talking to Everyone and no response. If this keeps up il switch my services to PS5 this is just ridiculous. I get on after work to Play and my account is banned when will enough be enough with This Team?

It's been awhile since my account got banned for indefinite, Over 7 years of data lost. Cant even play offline with any of my games, I Feel i have been banned for an unfair amount of time ( Indefinite ), The Reason I got banned was because during a message conversation with a friend on chats we were talking and I typed the word '' **** '' and '' **** '' and he thought it would be funny to report me. Obviously I was telling him not to because of previous suspensions in the past and didn't want to get banned, but nonetheless i got banned and for a unfair amount of time., My appeal was also denied but I am honestly not very happy that i got that amount of time. I understand that the words i used may not have been appropriate but a INDEFINITE Ban? for those words? not fair.

They do take into account all of your accounts previous suspensions that your account has ever had when determining the punishment for future bans.

so if you have gotten suspended in the past other times then they would see that as you not learning your lesson and eventually slap a permanent ban down if it continued.

That being said if they denied your appeal then theres nothing else that can be done.
