How 2 setup media centre on xbox without pc

I have xbox 360 I don't have pc but have a Samsung tablet. How do I setup the media centre with tablet for 360 . I don't know what version of Windows xbox is.placed help

what have you tried it should be simple enough to just open media centre on your pc/laptop then clicking add media extender, open media centre on console then enter the 8 digit number on media centre.

Thinking of switching from PS3 to Xbox

1. Yes BBC iplayer is free to use, the only one you can use without gold.

2. You can stream movies, music and pictures from your pc or any DLNA capable device, or you can setup media centre extender.

3. You can't copy movies to the xbox HDD but you can rip CD's to it(stick to streaming it is a lot easier). You can even stream music from your pc while playing a game.

Xbox 360 media centre plays live tv from the media center pc. Xbox1?

if you have windows 7 then media centre will stream near enough everything apart from mkv's, if your using xp media centre then download runtime 360 to your pc and that will give you the option to watch avi on the xbox through media centre but it converts
the file on the fly.
