Hours added to a Solitaire event while absent

I found several discussions in the forum, where the hours logged out of a Solitaire event, are added on to the total playing time, when a player returns to finish an event. I'm guessing, that the start time in the USA is 10am. Our start time, on the other
hand, is 10pm, per event. I try to do as much as I can before I go to bed, then I finish up the next day. This morning (12.10am), my total time was pleasing to me, 28mins, for a score of 2300 (in a Freecell event). This evening I resumed play, did a couple
of challenges, checked my time on the leader board, there was only 19hrs in front of it. I nearly quit then and there, but I hoped, there was an autocorrect (like for spelling) that would somehow, be applied, to be fair. My average time, of
1hr 45mins to 2hrs 15min has just been wrecked by a 20hr stint. How embarrassing! What will the friends on my mini leader board think? DOH...Please develop and apply an autocorrect, for event time totals.

Extra Hours added in Solitaire events

I enjoy participating in the Solitaire events every couple of days, but please explain how it can add 7-8 hours against my time. I play before and after work, but when I check my morning time after completing about half the challenges in 35 mins, when I
go back to complete the rest, after completing the 1st in my afternoon session, alll of a sudden the elapsed time shows 8 hours 20 mins. Surely you don't get time added when not playing and not even having the game open. Disappointed.

Microsoft Solitaire EVENTS - TIMER CONTINUES TO RUN... when Internet Connection is Lost

When playing the Solitaire Events game... I experienced a power failure.

After the power was restored several hours later... I started playing the game again.

An additional 7 hours of game time had been added to my time.

When the Internet connection is lost while playing the Solitaire Events games... the clock continues to run.

There must be a way for a developer to change the program and to stop the time being accumulated when the connection is lost.

I feel like this message to Support, was not only heard, but acted upon also. I have tested the waters twice, (leaving an Event, because I had to...then returning later), since this post, and my actual playing time was recorded. I'd like to personally thank
MS Support for fixing the problem.

Hello Rufus,

Sorry for the issue with solitaire events. We recommend going to the
Microsoft casual games community as they deal with these games. The community there is also very helpful.

I'm playing on a computer Microsoft solitaire collection and the so called "Event" where the different games are all on time. And when I'm shutting the program and then the computer the "Event" game still counts. And next morning when I continue playing
I've got 7-8 or more hours added to my result. In that way I have to finish the game on the same day or not shut down my computer during night.

Yes, starting with Insider build 15019, Solitaire Collection no longer shows the Events tiles. The current version is 3.14.1181.0, while the version of Solitaire that still let's you play Events is 3.12.12200.0. I've reported it using the Feedback hub and
I'm trying to find a way to restore the older version but haven't found a way yet. The only way to play Events that I'm aware of is to roll back to the previous build or restore a system image made while running 15014 or earlier.

This is very frustrating!
