Hotspot issues

Yep tried all that. The phone is fine.

I got my gfs phone on the same plan to connect to it, but just not my phone.

I think it has sonething to do with my phones IP ..

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. On your console would like to clear alt mac address see if it helps. Go to settings>network>network settings>adv. settings>alt mac address clear and restart.

I have a tmobile hotspot i use to play on my xbox one x and for the last week it wont connect to it. I took it to the store and they reset it and connected to the stores internet.. but still wont connect to my hotspot.. errors i keep getting are
cant get an IP address.. very frustrating!

Thank you for posting on the Xbox Forum am going give you 3 options which could be problem

1. have you tried turning off your Hotspot and back on again.
2. you don't have a very good signal strength.
3. You could of run of Data and that why you can't connect to it

Are you able to use a different network that isn't the mobile hotspot? That will help confirm if its the mobile hotspot or something else causing the issue?

Recently there have been a lot of posts regarding AT&T issues for both home routers and hotspots. This leads us to believe it is a widespread issue. We are working together to find out what the issue is exactly.

For now, please try changing the xbox’s DNS server from automatic to manual, and then using
1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1

Changing my DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1 fixes the issue for me.

If it helps in tracking this down, my automatic Primary DNS was being set to: 127.20.10.1, and I'm pretty sure there was no Secondary DNS (0.0.0.0).
