Hotspot for Xbox One

Unfortunately, mobile hotspots are not designed to be fully compatible with the console and may not work at all times. Is there anything else running off of your hotspot?

You can try resetting the hotspot or creating a new one on the phone but there is never a guarantee that a mobile hotspot will work with an Xbox One console.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this question. In regard to the use of a WiFi hotspot to connect to Xbox Live, we fully recommend using a more traditional internet method if you wish to connect correctly as many mobile providers may not
have the correct security settings via hotspot to be compatible for the security needs for parties or multiplayer game play. This would explain the unavailable NAT type you're receiving. If you do wish to use your hotspot, I recommend contacting your mobile
plan service provider for information on the best way to do so.

Most carriers have Hotspot devices that can operate independently of your phone. Some of the carriers require a separate "line" for the hotspot, but it should still be able to share your unlimited data service. I would check with Boost to see what they
have, but Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint all have such devices.
