Hotspot data usage

How much data will Xbox one chew through in about 4 hours on mobile data hotspot playing Xbox live? My concern is it will go way over my data.

When you say data usage, does that mean you are using a phone as a wireless hotspot?

Im at little bit of a panic moment here. I just read an article on evdoinfo com talking about data usage for ps4 and xbox one. I dont have dsl, satellite, cable, i just have a verizon hotspot for internet access and so far its been great. Gaming over 3g/4g is better than expected, but am i going to be out of luck come the new xbox? I dont want to miss out on halo because of huge data requirements! Any insight from anybody that games like this or has thoughts would be appreciated!

 

Ok so it will take 100 gb a day that's the most or if you play it every second online probably 200gb

 

100GB a day? Maybe you meant 100mb? The only way you would get into the GB range is if you're downloading game updates and such. If you're just playing online then it depends on the game, but you'd be talking in the 100's of mb range.

 

Maybe you could give us an hint of how much mobile data usage you can access on a monthly basis, before your usage is being capped/shaped/downgraded?

How much mobile data usage do you normally have on a monthly basis (hotspot/sharing excluded)?

 

Usually in 4 hours on my personal hotspot playing Wildland I used around 3 to 4 Gb of data.
