Thank you for reaching out. For system updates, we suggest trying a standard home connection or attempting an offline system update. If you wish to try your hotspot again, you could try performing a factory reset on your Xbox while keeping your games and
apps by doing the following:

1. Press the Xbox button
   to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.
