Hotel like WiFi issue

I love Microsoft really do... but guys get your act together regarding the hotel log in. I don't have a phone to connect to nor will my computer bridge the connection. Considering I live where the only connection I get is a hotel style I think this is poor
service. I don't rant often like this but its silly really silly. To be honest if not sorted soon it was a gigantic waste of money that I wont be recommending.

Cant connect to hotel internet

Hey there PrinceYhuri.

Generally hotel internet requires you to access the browser to accept their Terms and Conditions for use. I recommend reaching out to the hotel for help with connecting to your WiFi. Often times hotel WiFi isn't compatible with an Xbox console.

That depends, are you trying to use a hotel wifi? Hotel wifi can be tricky depending on their settings. I know at many hotels they require you to accept a terms of use or something like that when ever you log on. But with the Xbox you can't do that. Any
chance you could give more info?

Also if you are using an older model Xbox (not the slim) you need a wireless adapter to be able to access wifi.

Can you now work with your landlord and try to get the configuration adjusted for gaming? Surely you're not the only one there that games.

Can't you just open the web browser? Or call the tech support who handles the wifi and see if they can manually add your ip addy for your console. I was just a 2 different Motel 6's in two different states and had no problem finding the wireless and connecting.

That's why I went to unlimited data as it was cheaper then paying for extra data or hotel wifi. Do you know the company the hotel uses for wifi?

Aha! So it looks like you are using a hotel or public wifi, correct? If so, it is asking for that log-in info. If you are in a hotel, the front desk should be able to provide you with that info.
