Hotel gaming, doable?

I'm going to be at a hotel, for two nights and I will not be home all Friday, so I may need to sign into Destiny and meet with Xur, make sure he doesn't have what I'm expecting to show up and then I can sign back out. I won't even have time to actually game
anyway. I literally just don't want to miss out on an item I'm expecting to go up any day now and Xur is only there between Friday and Sunday at 9am. Has anyone ever played from a hotel with success? I'm not worried about display connection, I have all sorts
of contraptions on that note and I even have an employee at the hotel looking at the TV's now, so I know what to bring, but I am wondering if I can connect to Live from there okay. It's not a major chain hotel.

Maybe if you're going to Navy school and living in a hotel you should not be gaming

Connecting to Xbox live at a Hotel

btw you will most likely have to deal with NAT issues with hotel connections due to unlimited amount of people connecting via the same line and 1 poor router

hotel connections are meant for browsing and video stuff

not gaming (you'll need to make sure that their firewall ports ain;'t blocked for gaming(

Now a days I don't foresee any issues. If the hotel dont have what you need. Im sure you can hit a wifi connection without any issues.

Hey op, You can set your Cell Phone to mobile Hotspot and use that if you have enough bandwidth. I do this all the time myself and it seems fine on 3g or 4g. Just be aware of mobile charges, I have 4GB a month.

I've played solo the majority of the playing SoT, so it's definitely doable. Difficult, but doable.

I think it's absolutely possible. I might have to hide from LOTS of things, and the ending may take a long time to reach,but bells yea! GREAT idea.

You can definitely sneak around the enemies with enough patience. You can also just not do that quest if you have to kill people. That's sometimes the trade off of the pacifist playthrough
