    HOTAS/Peripheral Joystick Support


    Good afternoon,

    I was wondering if anyone knew about any new developments towards HOTAS support or 3rd party development of flight sticks for the Xbox One? We have 240 votes thus far on the user voice, but it seems to be getting no traction. Looking at completed user voice
    requests there have been several things implemented with less votes. Saitek(Mad Katz) was interviewed last year about their X52/55 and the use of it for Elite: Dangerous and they made some comments that kinda directed they were working on something without
    actually saying it.

    We just want some immersion into Elite: Dangerous and the other flight games sure to come. You'd be making your fans pretty happy!

    XAC doesn't work with my Sidewinder 92626 joysticks

    I have thrustmaster hotas, works fine but I believe it is the only joystick licenced for xbox one at this time.

    Adaptive Controller & 3rd party joysticks

    Do the USB inputs allow us to use/program 3rd party joysticks with XB1? For example, using a HOTAS system (Thrustmaster, etc) for games and be able to program the various buttons to correspond to various button combinations?

    Specifically curious if this might open up use of other HOTAS systems with Elite Dangerous, etc.

    MS Sidewinder Force Feedback has been out of production for 20 years, it's not supported any longer by Windows even. Even if it did work, the games would have to specifically contain the drivers to support its features.

    If the peripheral is not specifically marked as for Xbox, it won't work

    There are joysticks available for Xbox, The Airbus flightstick, and several HOTAS setups for example.

    it looks like the pedals are compatible but you might need to get the T.Flight Hotas One joystick.
