HOTAS joystick not recognises

Discus and support HOTAS joystick not recognises in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have a HOTAS joystick attached for Star Wars Squadrons.     HOTAS joystick not recognises


    I have a HOTAS joystick attached for Star Wars Squadrons. It works fine but when I turn off my Xbox controller, I'm hit with a message on the screen saying please turn on controller. The joystick is still turned on but pressing A doesn't work, I need to
    turn on the controller again and press A.

    On the USB plug of the HOTAS there is a light that used to light up, but lately this light doesn't come on. Also my recharge cable for my controller battery pack doesn't seem to charge when connected. This is the case for all USB ports.

    Now the strange thing is, I've an external hard drive connected via USB and this works all the time.

    Any thoughts on how to fix this? Is it an issue with the USB ports?

    it looks like the pedals are compatible but you might need to get the T.Flight Hotas One joystick.

    XAC doesn't work with my Sidewinder 92626 joysticks

    I have thrustmaster hotas, works fine but I believe it is the only joystick licenced for xbox one at this time.

    Will a fully fledged (PC) Joystick work with the XBox One?

    If you only want to use the joystick, then no.

    Only officially licensed Xbox controllers will work on the console (with the exception of standard HID USB keyboards for text entry).

    However, the official Xbox Adaptive controller that is aimed at gamers with disabilities also has two USB ports, and supposedly some PC joysticks work on that.

    This is however a "your mileage may vary" thing, as the Joystick probably will only be able to use it's X and Y axis, and not much else.

    If you want a fully fledged Joystick that you can also use on the PC, you might want to look at the Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS One: http://www.thrustmaster.com/en_US/products/tflight-hotas-one

    Thanks for responding. I am not sure what you mean. I have connected a Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS one (flight)joystick to my Xbox with the USB cable that came with the joystick. I am not sure what "pairing and syncing" you are referring to. The guide says "plug cable in and start Xbox" then I should be able to use the joystick as controller but the joystick remains unresponsive?

    Wireless Joystick

    I have the T.Flight HOTAS and it is a very good joystick. been using it for a while on Elite Dangerous.

    There are no wireless sticks, as of yet but if you want a stick the T.Flight is worth the money
