    Hot Wheels DLC refuses to install after I paid for it


    So after I bought the product, it gave me an error message. I went to my games and apps to see the DLC having an epileptic fit where it kept swithcing from Installing to Queued to Ready to Installing, etc. I restarted my XBox and now it won't even bother
    to work. It doesn't give me any error messages or anything. It recognises I own the product, but when I click Install from the store page it says Working, but nothing actually happens. This is really really annoying me and I would really like some help

    Expansion pass for FH3

    Well... Yesterday I bought Expansion pass for FH3... And I have troubles with Hot Wheels DLC. I can't play on Hot Wheels DLC map, but can use Hot Wheels cars... With Blizzard Mountain all okay.

    Forza Horizon - two player

    One thing I'd note- to unlock Hot Wheels (and online play), you do have to play the main game to the point where you unlock a second festival site before accessing the Hot Wheels content. This should take a few races/events before you unlock the second
    festival site- I can't remember exactly how long it took me to do so, but I'd guess about 30-60 minutes of gameplay. If you haven't unlocked your second festival site, do that first, then see if Hot Wheels is available.

    If you've already unlocked your second festival site and still can't access Hot Wheels, it might still need to be installed on your system. I recall that I drove to the Hot Wheels site, then was prompted to install the Hot Wheels
    DLC from within the game. You could also install it from the Xbox menu using the instructions for downloading game add-ons found at this link: View and download game content and add-ons on Xbox One

    Hey Rodrigo, unfortunately the steps you provided did not result in the game installing. I was able to install the Hot Wheels DLC just fine but the base game just will not install.

    Forza Horizon 5 hotwheels DLC

    It became available to install on June 19, but it won't be released to play until July 19.
    I am having a similar issue. I've had my series X since release. With many hours under the wheel on Forza 5.

    Now that Hot wheels is finally actually out

    Bought & paid for.

    Downloaded and installed

    It just say locked continue playing Hot wheels expedition

    That's what i can't do.

    Any help would be great

    Are you posting from the account that already redeemed both the digital download for Forza Horizon 3 and the Hot Wheels DLC? In the meantime, have you ensured that you have completed the proper game requirements to access the Hot Wheels DLC?

    As mentioned on the
    Hot Wheels Store Page     , you must complete enough Exhibition Events and PR Stunts to build your second festival site, after which the expansion will become unlocked and accessible on the game map.

    Thanks, so when you launch Forza 3 the Hot wheels bit is where? There's World Map Blizzard thing but the Hot Wheels thing is greyed out. I assume thats the bit I paid for?
