Hot Rumor is spelt Hot Rumour

 

Different countries have different ways of spelling certain words. And everyone is a different age on the forums and may not have the same maturity levels as others. It could be a 12 year old, or a 45 year old. For example, in Goth town, they spell crazy
Kwazy ^u^. I prefer not to call it sexy as some of my friends will think that's ***. I've also noticed that only New Zealand people on Xbox Live say the word "***". But I'm serious with how some countries spell some words differently to other countries. And
yes 12 year olds have participated on this site's forum before just in different sections on this site like the Minecraft section. In 2012 I was looking for friends for Minecraft, and got some aged 10 and up who also made a post on this site. I'm also friends
with some of my friends grandparents and uncle and parents.

I remember when Cloud was moderator and offered to friend me. I was excited and said to my friends wooo I'm friends with a Microsoft/Xbox Moderator. K it's forum moderator, but this is Microsoft's website and you need authorization probably from them to
be one. I saw some locked threads today too. They were someone I call higher than a moderator. Xbox Official Staff. I guess the kind of staff you talk to when contacting Xbox Support.

Just the United States, every ms product tries to "correct" your spelling by misspelling regardless of your region. Tabloid newspapers use U.S English to save in print as U.S English is really just missing letters or replacing Z with S or vice versa. There's
the odd exception like Tire or Check. Goth/Sexy, my Idea was just a rumour

 

Considering how many people should actually use spell check, but apparently don't... I'll just follow the recommendations and use what mine suggests here in the states. I actually don't see that many red underlines anyway, but I hate seeing them. Makes me
feel like a first grade teacher checked my post.

 

We are free to make spelling mistakes. we are here to have fun not have our english teacher looking over our shoulder. i made a post last year or so about wanting voice messages on xbox 1. i felt like bowski was my english teacher she removed some links
as i didnt know posting links to see the polls on the official feedback site wasnt allowed. And besides not everyone uses perfect gammar when typing posts on your phone. capacitive touch screens can be too sensitive or you type in a hurry and touch one key
and the screen thinks you touched the letter next to it.

 

I think that the spell check should just go away, it appears there is no right or wrong in 2016.
