What you should do is report the gamertag using the dashboard reporting tools. Go to their bio and select File Complaint then follow the instructions provided.

As far as getting DDoS'd goes, it is illegal in most countries. You should contact your internet service provider and let them know what's happening. They will issue you a new IP address and investigate the attacks.

 

IPs are dynamic, and most of the time home providers aren't going to do anything. DDoS attacks are launched from networks, and not any single source. All you can do is reset your network hardware.

 

Yea i work for an isp in tech support myself and least with us there isnt a way for us to manually change your ip from our end even if its static. One thing ive personally done that makes my ip change though is using the 'clone mac address' feature which
is in most routers the unplug both my modem and router for about 30 seconds. Plug the modem back in. Once the modem is fully powered back up plug the router back in. This has worked for some people to force their public wan ip to change assuming its dynamic
this process should work.

 

Meant to say there wasnt a way for tech support in the isp i work with to manually change your ip from our end even if your dynamic.
