Discus and support Horrible Wireless Performance in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So I have noticed for a while that games on my XB1 download horribly slow (500kb - 900kb a second) and I never really paid too much attention to it...     So I have noticed for a while that games on my XB1 download horribly slow (500kb - 900kb a second) and I never really paid too much attention to it because streaming and online play seems to work fine.

    Well now I have noticed streaming and online play has become almost impossible. Now I have 125mbps internet, so I should easily be getting more than the 5mbps I am getting when I check the XB1 network.

    I have tried resetting the router/modem, hard resetting the system, clearing the MAC and changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 and nothing has worked. With how my apartment and modem are setup, hard wiring is not an option.

    For a system relying a whole lot on network/internet features, the wireless system is not so good. Does anyone have anything else I can do?

    My xbox one is very laggy on cod advanced warfare when any others device such as a ipad goes on youtube it be comes un playable instantly

    Can some one help please

    Hey there, I've read on a few forum posts that going to settings>preferences>disable and then enable 'allow to play streaming' should speed things up significantly.

    If that doesn't work, I can only suggest going through the follow support article:

    Have you tried playing while other electronics in your apartment that require internet are off?

    I know if I have steam up on my PC while playing my Xbox it can become very slow and laggy. And I have both my PC and XBone hardwired, so with yours being wireless it may be competing with any other devices you have.

    Hi I have same problem like you,and after calling Xbox support and ATT U-VERSE ISP provider and resetting my Xbox and waiting on phone and waiting for ATT U-verse technicians to check my connection and everything in my house is working fine and good signal
    except Xbox one and people from service don't know what to do ,so after talking with people from Xbox one support we decide to send box for service and see what is problem, I take Xbox one to Microsoft store and manager decide to see for himself and plug
    my Xbox one and she is working fine but in my house is problem, but I steel decide to send my box for repair because is under warranty steel and i'm steel waiting from service center to let me know what they find but nothing from last 7 days. Please let me
    know did you able to fix yours and how? I will post whatever i find out,Thank you.

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown- YES

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? NO NAT ERROR,OPEN

    Any Error Codes you encounter: WEASEL, only when I play Destiny

    Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider):AT&T U-verse turbo max ,download speed 23mbps,upload speed-3mbps

    Yes, I have tried EVERYTHING off except the Xbox One, I just did all the port forwarding and now I am only getting 2mbps... Something is VERY wrong with the wireless setup on the XB1, I really have NO idea what to do at this point.

    It's not our connections. Stop suggesting it is. It's a major issue and a lot of people are suffering from it. I have tried everything and have come to the conclusion that it's on Microsofts end.

    I can't do anything on my xbox one and it's really irritating, especially since i finally got my *** free month from the MCC thing.

    I don't know if you think and why that i'm accusing and suggesting is Bungie fault? I really don't care, I like for them to find solution ,Please and fast,because lot of people have problem with same issue like myself and more and more every day.Or you thinking
    and telling to other person in this post? I'm not suggesting nothing and i'm not accusing anybody of anything. And I think Microsoft give one mount live free because of problem with Halo MCC multiplayer and that have I think nothing to do with this problem.I
    don't know i'm only one confused costumer who don't know what to do. Sorry if you got wrong impression.

    I am not trying to remove blame from anyone or put it on anyone else. I just want to have as much information as possible, that way when anyone looks at this post they can see everything and may be able to help.

    If it is on Microsoft's end and there are enough people with the issue, then I guarantee Microsoft is looking into it. The unfortunate part is the fix won't be instant. It will take a little while to identify the problem, come up with a solution, and implement
    that solution. The only thing that can be done right now is to be patient, which I know isn't what wants to be heard, but unfortunately there is nothing else to do at the moment.

    You could browse the forums though, to see if anyone has found out any other information on the same issue.

    It most definitely is a problem on Microsofts end. They need to be alerted to this issue because this is ridiculous. A lot of people are having this issue and have had it since the update. Also everything else in my house has no issue downloading or staying
    connected to the internet. Just my Xbox One.

    I have contacted Microsoft support to see if they had another solution and that was to call my ISP and ask for a Public IP and that will solve my issues. I already have a public IP and nothing: Microsoft Support or Comcast Support has done anything.

    I have literally tried everything.

    Putting my xbox one into a DMZ, static IP, factory reset my gateway, open ports and forward them, clear alternate MAC address, hard reset, disconnect wireless and then hard reset.

    Literally nothing has worked. This only happened AFTER the update in February.

    I'm just trying to say we have tried everything there is to help the solution and nothing is working. It's extremely frustrating because I cannot do anything on my Xbox One.

    Have you tried changing the wifi channel?

    Also what wifi band are you using?

    If you are using the standard 2.4Ghz band then wifi can be so congested that it's impossible to get a decent speed. Although changing the wifi channel can help. For instance I get a massive speed drop if I am using wifi channel 1 but if I switch to channel
    11 the speed doubles.

    If you have a dual band AC router though then try connecting to the 5Ghz band.

    I got a massive speed boost when I did that. With 2.4Ghz I was lucky to get speeds above 10Mbps. Now I get the full speed of my line which is 75megs.

    just use a Cat5 cable and watch this problem disappear, its a wireless issue and Microsoft have to fix it as its not our issue its inside the Xbox One itself, like we say everything on our internet works fine even a 360 which is an extra 10 meters further
    away from router works fine its the Xbox One wi-fi connection its broken and needs to be fixed asap

    Yes it is true, that there does seem to be an issue inside the Xbox One. But other people are having some success with trying different things and changing some of these settings. You never know you may be one of them that someone may be able to help,
    if you provide the information some are asking for, or trying some of the solutions that they suggest.

    Hopefully this gets resolved, but there is no harm in trying a few things and hoping that you are one of the lucky ones that gets theirs fixed by changing a few settings.

    I have had to pretty much give up on wireless in my house bacause I cannot figure out what is interferring with things, one day something works, the next it does not work, the only thing that seems somewhat stable is the Roku that I have.

    Well its been a week now of completely flawless party chat using a cable from box to modem/router, and have come to say that the wi-fi is the issue its just not very good at all considering its meant to be Next generation lol i am never going back to wi-fi
    on my One as it doesn't work properly.
