Horrible issues with xbox one conection

Im having major conection issues but only in my xbox one i can play perfectly fine on my xbox 360 and my PC so i dont now whats happening this is such a Shame

because ive had the xbox for 3 days and i have barely played anything and thats not online i have only tríed to play bf4 multilplayer but each time i go in a server

im frozen and cant move so i leave after 2 minutes does anyone know if there is a reason for this ive only installed bf4 and downloaded strike suit zero which is free this month im reinstalling bf4 to see if that works hoping that is a install issue and
not a hardware issue because in my country there. Is no place to take my xbox one and get a new one

I dont know why but my detalles network statistic say

Download speed 0.98mbps

Upload speed 0.04 mbps

Packet loss 34%

Mtu 1480

Latency 2149

Which aré obiously not my valúes or i would not be able to play any game on anything

 

Something is causing you to have those results, so my guess is something is not well, and it could be that a game like BF4 on the Xbox one requires a bit more data than what you can play on 360 and pc.

How have you got your Xbox one connected to the internet?

Via a cable or Wireless? (i would suggest Cable, since Wireless is far more sensative to packet drops)

Also have you tried to reset/power off your router/modem? try doing that.

 

I always Connectt vía cable and i dont use any router i connect directly to my modem ... Yes i have already reseted my modem and still notthing ... I dont rly think its bf requiring more data cuz again i rarely lag on my PC and xbox 360 and i play lots
of mmo on high rez....

but it could be a posibility...

Well, indeed to figure out if its the Xbox one and not your network, or your network cable.

have you tried bringing your console to factory defaults yet?
support.xbox.com/.../reset-console-to-factory-defaults

besides that you can try a different network cable, and if not that its best to test your Xbox one at a friends place. If it is your Xbox one you should start a service ticket and have it repaired/replaced asap.

Though you can always try the store where you bought it, since you just have the console! (although you state in your starting message you can't return it in your country, i'm guessing you bought it in a different country then?)

 

Well, I will also reply to this thread. I have an awesome connection, and do test on it all the time. I go on vacation got back yesterday. Logged on to live like normal. Started having issues out the gate. Couldn't connect to chat meant something was having
issues. Checked connection and showed i had high packet loss under detailed stats. Needless to say I called my cable provider/Charter Communications. Which I currently get 60 down 4 up with. The said it seemed that I was getting a lower speed than normal (upload)
at that time. Had a tech come out and change out modem and router. He tested which I watched, and i was getting normal speeds at that time with old modem and router. I said change it anyways. So, we did....JIK. Now it seems i am having similar issues, but
not on the charter side. I will also note that before all of this I have been having issues with my twitch connection saying that it is LAGGING when trying to broadcast. Doesn't make sense that I would be having issues as well as many others with these speeds.

 

K. Have called them/charter communications again checked all connection and test through CPU. I have a great hookup with 64 up and 4.3 down. That was with CPU hooked into wireless router via LAN cord. Take same cord and hook into xbone. Do speed test....Detailed
Net. Stats.....61.69 down .20 up 2% packet loss.....yea that's right .20 up....Has to be issues on the LIVE side or with this box alone. Seeing them with your own eyes will do it for you. I have tried hard reset as well, but will try once again. Will brb will
results. Note went to twitch to see recommended stream speed (521kbps). HAHA!

 

Alright reset again ran 3 test. First was 60 dl and 2.4 ul 2% packet loss with twitch recommended quality at 631kbps. 2nd was 63.67 dl and 2.79 ul with 39% packet loss w/twitch recommended quality at 631kbps. 3rd was 57.96 dl and 3.08 up w/ 1% loss w/twitch
recommended quality at 631kbps. These all had a latency around 90 no more than 92. Note: These test were ran back to back with a lil time to check on twitch recommended quality. So, no major time passed. Now will do wired connection to cpu and brb with results.

 

K cpu hardwired connection test ran 4 times. 1st...64.76 dl w/ 4.34 ul, latency at 12 ms, jitter 8ms. 2nd...64.62 dl w/ 4.33 ul, latency at 16 ms, jitter 3ms. 3rd...64.42 dl w/ 4.26 ul, latency at 15 ms, jitter 3 ms. 4th...56.29 dl w/ 4.3 ul, latency at
12 ms, jitter 37 ms. Don't understand why they make the connection to the servers crap or if I have problems with my box. These where ran with the same connection and same cord that is used with xbox one. Go figure..... If someone has a reply feel free I'll
be here browsing.

 

When running the tests with your computer (CPU), how close is the server you are connecting to for the test? Most of the time you are automatically connected to the best closest server.

When you do the tests on the Xbox you are connecting to Microsoft servers which, based on where you live, could be thousands of miles away. The farther away the yes server is...... The more the stats get worse.

Run the tests with your computer again a manually chose the server closest to Redmond WA and check the results. If the results are bad.... Then Charter could be having problems or something could be wrong with the wiring in your house.
