HORRIBLE install times

Grabbed GoW off the store yesterday, go to install, im currently sitting at 19% after over 24 HOURS. and thats restarting the download FOUR times. Thinking it was a problem on my end, had the tech come out, check everything, ran tests, im consistent at
174 down and 55 up average out of 10 tests. Thinking it was a bad file, tried re installing another game, SAME thing. I saw yesterday problems with Content Download alert on Live Status page, now it says normal. WHAT IS THE DEAL? Can I get a REP to help me
out here and the countless other people left in the dark wondering whats going on??

Installing texture pack on 4GB slim's flash memory

so i take it there will be no patch? no hope for the 4 gb model? i was looking forward to BF3 for a loong time and this is what i get? the game looks horrible, like ps2 horrible. not to mention theres actually LESS stuff you can destroy in this game, the
campaign was horrible. not fun at all. this game sucks, and i cant even admire the graphics. i'm going to sell it on craigslist if they dont patch the HD content install for the 4GB.

I figured it out. I'm an idiot. Now I'm just dealing horrible install speeds. 3 hours and it's at 28%.

 

Yep, having the same problem. Not my connection, I'm wired in, 105 down and 50 up. Ludicrously slow install speeds.

 

Ive tried several tweets and several phone calls to try and get answers and no one either gives one or im ignored. Id like to get this thread enough replies that maybe we can get a Xbox Rep to reply and give us SOME sort of answer

 

Yes, please. One particular game is still at 5% after two hours. This is kinda ridiculous, and I have tried literally everything. Going to talk to someone on live support chat, bracing self for inevitable power cycling advice

 

ive gotten the same advice 8 times now. PS it doesnt work

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue. Downloaded HMCC the other day and it was done in no time, GoW on the other hand....it's been 5 hours and is at 50%. My connection is good so....what is the deal?!

 

UPDATE:

its been 24 hours since i restarted the download, and its only at 41%. customer service is closed for the weekend ive tried calling several times. Microsoft your service is abysmal

 

Ive been having the same problem downloading an update for Project Cars. At least i know its not a problem on my end. I'm only getting like 10 kb/s downloading the update.

Purchased the Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain pre-order from the store and the download is moving at a snails pace. Followed the instructions on the Troubleshoot Slow Game or App Downloads on Xbox One page, but that did not remedy the situation.

Went through settings, network, and ran the detailed network statistics, which showed my download speed as 85.6 Mbps and upload speed as 11.59 Mbps. I then checked my bandwidth usage in network settings and the current bandwidth usage ranges from 100 Kbit/s
to 1.5 Mbit/s with with the game in the download queue.

appropriate people and work on getting this resolved.

 

I also have this problem. Took 45min to download a 271mb system update. Can't download the Project Cars update either. Good to know I'm not the only one!!
