    Horrible download speeds for updates


    I have 1gb FIOS connection, I'm hardwired to my router, and xbox speed test consistently shoes 700-800mbps. My download speed for uodates isnt even getting 1mbps!!!!! Whats going on here?! I tried the clearing alternate mac address someone mentioned and
    its only worse!

    What can i do? Why did i pay for this internet if xbox can't even utilize it?!

    Hey there!

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Could you post back with brand and model of the router & modem you own? Additionally, please try a quick

    Factory Restore on your Xbox One console    . Be sure to select 'Reset and keep my games & apps' to avoid having to reinstall your game library. After your Xbox One console resets, please try a wired connection again.

    Game Update / Slow Download Speeds

    Why is it that when I go to update a game patch, i am getting 300kpbs download speed?

    I am on ATT fiber getting 800mpbs download speeds and 300mpbs upload speeds. I am wired through LAN on the console and the network speed test on the xbox is showing the same speeds however when i go to update a game, i am getting horrible download speeds.
    I do not like waiting 24hrs to install a new patch and expect better service.

    Does xbox GUI allow the users to change the server? I suspect that I am connected to someone in eastern hemisphere.

    Update for Rocket League doesn't finish.

    I'm trying to avoid resorting to that option because my Xbox's download speeds are horrible with both wired and wireless connections.
