    Horrible connection with Xbox One and Win 10


    Tried playing games on my PC using the Xbox One App. The games run crappy like I have a bad frame rate. Also I can't turn on my Xbox from my PC and yes it is connected and yes I do have power on in settings. My Xbox one is 10 ft behind me from my PC so what
    is the deal?

    Can't Use Wired Streaming Feature through Internet Switch

    My PC and Xbox One are wired connected to the same internet switch but whenever I try to stream Xbox One to my PC it would get some very horrible quality pictures with a notification saying network connection issues and kept suggesting my wireless connection
    is not strong enough.

    Can someone help me? I tried to forget the Xbox One but it seems like a wired connection just can't be established and the Xbox app on Win 10 would insist on using a wireless connection.

    Game streaming on my new Xbox One S is pixellated

    My XBOX ONE (non S) was silky smooth for Game Streaming, but my One S has severe pixellation / artifact issues.

    I have 19.21.7006.00000 Xbox App on Win 10, and the latest Software on the One S.

    I'm hardwired into the same Gigabit switch as the One S with my laptop, with GigE connections all round, and i've tried rebooting all parts of the network.

    Make sure your on the same network. (For instance, you can have a router, with 4 seperate Wifi Names)

    You should just have to add your console on the app, or get your Xbox's IP address from your Xbox Internet Connection settings, and add it then it should see it.

    Frame rate may have to do with the graphics card that is in your laptop. Make sure everything is up to date.

    Yes it is on the same network and my graphics card is high end. If it wasn't connected right I wouldn't get a signal at all right?

    [/quote] Exactly. When I play sometimes I have my 2 friends, one has a 1.3something kd and the other 1.4 while I carry a 1.5. Unless our 3 randoms are horrible, and I cant stress horrible enough we do ok unless we're having an off day.

    It's not unheard of for Steam versions to work fine whilst GP ones are glitchy...the background architecture is different. Could be an optimisation issue, could be a Windows 11 issue (that causes a lot of game issues...only way to test is to run a second drive with WIn 10 on it as a dual boot or get rid of Win 11 entirely and go back to Win 10)
