Horizon 5 failing to load

Hello Kevin, is this only happening with Forza 5 or does it happen with other games on your console?

You've done as much of a procedure as could be done on the console regarding this game, I know that Forza has had a small update recently and sometimes some of them may come with bugs.

If this happens on one game only then that makes the issue more likely to be related to the game alone. If the last suggestion above:

Lastly, kindly try Create a local user or administrator account in Windows and launch the game from Drive G.

did not work kindly check these support pages from the game: FH5 Known Issues and My Game is Not Launching or is Crashing on PC.

As what we can see from here the Xbox app is trying to locate the game from the Local Drive C to launch it.

Here is the following suggested troubleshooting with questions.

May we know if you previously downloaded the game on Drive C?

Is Drive G formatted as NTFS?

May we know if all antivirus, antimalware, firewall or PC optimizer are temporary disable or turned off?

How do you launch the game? Are you using the shortcut of the game on desktop or app pinned on taskbar? Searching the game on Windows search bar? Or using Xbox app?

• If you can try, please launch the game from the Drive G.
  

If you are using the shortcut, try the other way which is launching the game from the Windows search bar or locate the game on Drive G.

May we know if you have tried running the game as admin or launch it in compatibility mode (Make older apps or programs compatible with Windows 10)?

Suggested Troubleshooting:

Please make sure you know your Xbox account email and password then sign out from the Xbox app and Microsoft Store and launch the game.

Disk cleanup in Windows 10

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

Lastly, kindly try Create a local user or administrator account in Windows and launch the game from Drive G.

I am gonna go ahead and say something i probably shouldnt say but i will say it anyway just so you can confirm that the problem is not on my pc and its not on my drive its in your game and your microsoft store, i downloaded FH5 Cracked using torrent and it works perfectly fine and doesn't crash at all and it's a great game i adimit it but now you know that problem is either in the xbox app or your cloud thats it its the only explanation and i know for sure the cracked one is from microsoft store because my steering wheel works on it perfectly fine but on steam it doenst get recognized as a wheel and thats why i got the game from the xbox app and not steam. so there you go
