    Horizon 4 not running.


    So just bought this game, spent 5 hours downloading it and now it will not launch. I check for possible fixes, and I find this is a problem that dates back since the beginning.

    So I follow nearly every suggestion, cold start, reboot, USB conflicting etc....only one I didn't was reinstall. My bandwidth is important to me, I just spent 130$ CDN on this game and the only solution that seems to work is reinstalling? What level
    crazy is that a fix and how is it still a thing today?

    Seriously get your house together, anyone have a suggestion other than reinstalling.

    We are sorry for this issue.

    Unfortunately, it might be related to data corruption during the installation or downloading the game. Thus, one of the methods of identifying if that`s the real issue, the next natural step is reinstalling and re-downloading the game.

    Please, inform us of this new installation try and if it worked.

    First off thanks for the help. That did the trick.

    I'll say this and you can pass it along to others that it matters more to.

    This should not be happening.

    I have been playing on Steam for years and if I need to download a game I have never ever had this issue. I have downloaded GTAV at least 3 times since release (through freeing up space or a new drive) and never has it ever had this type of issue.

    Microsoft is worth $1.042 trillion, Steam is worth $1.5 billion.

    There is no way a billion dollar company should be able to provide a service better than a trillion dollar company. Not on any level.

    MS needs to get their house in order.

    It is probably that you are offline, or you could try to start the game in a second account to see if the problem is not your account, but normally if it is a digital disk, the problem is related to the connection
