Hooking mic to my Xbox one S

Sorry for the issue with your mic. Unfortunately, USB mics will not work with the Xbox one console. Those type of mics are for PC use. You can try and take it back to retailer and exchange it.

Now on PS4 i use the camera as a mic so no headphone is needed what options do i have on the one s i have a kinect sensor but that does not hook up to the 1s any suggestions to avoid a headset but having sound and mic through the tv??

On the X12's can I hook my xbox up to my surround sound with a optical cable then hook the x12's to the back of my surround sound?

I had the same issue . I solved my issue by using the controller that the mic is hooked up to to turn the xbox one and since doing that I have not had anymore communication issues.

@Goth do you use headset mic that came with the one or something hooked up to the stereo headset adapter?

I think it made me update the first time I hooked up my headset adapter, has that changed, or is my memory just foggy?
