    Hooking into HD


    We have been trying for months now just to allow my son to play Minecraft online or even splitscreen at home..lol...I am not savvy on all the electronics fyi. I bought what was supposed to be an HD av cable for Xbox 360 and we hooked it in, pulled up instructions
    of this site and unplugged the yellow RCa cord only to find the information about the VGA?? My tv doesn't have a slot for this but neither does the cord. If someone could please explain what is wrong there, just got dooped on the cord or what?? It was bought
    from SF planet and is a Folsom HD AV Component Cable For Xbox 360 is the exact sticker description..lol. Then we tried just a HDMI cable we had in our Blu Ray and it did nothing, when we refreshed our Video settings it found no devices. We have a Samsung Hd
    tv. Any help would be greatly appreciated Hooking into HD :)

    HDMI not displaying

    Have you tried different HDMI cable? would i be right by thinking HDMI is still fine on your friends tv, maybe worth going over hooking it up to your freinds display device and putting it into AV mode, then plug into your hdmi it should automatically change
    to support hd.

    Edit: also try changing the device Hz, it may not support it or something, just trying to help Hooking into HD :)

    All forms of HD cables will work with the game - VGA, HDMI or Component. What you are probably missing is changing the resolution on the Xbox itself. You will need to go into the system settings and up the resolution to match that of your TV. You may also
    need to check the cable itself as some have a switch on them to enable HD output.

    No cable box, does x1 have cable in port?

    In order to watch TV on the XBox One you will have to have a HD Cable box. You hook the HD Cable box into the Xbox One's HDMI IN port.
