Honestly Can you please fix the controllers already.

Ok i purchased my xbox one in december 2014 and here it is april 2015 and i have gone through a total of 9 xbox one controllers.

Main problems include:

ABXY Buttons stop working

Auto drift happens on a regular bases

Controller won't connect

controller won't stay connected.

And what is sad is all of these could be fixed by simply making your circuit boards in the controller thicker and more robust.

Ok i was asked for information on this. Honestly i don't know why because if microsoft would just make the controller a little more robust this wouldn't be happening.

So let me explain from my knowledge of this issue.

I recently purchased a warehouse lot of broken xbox one controllers because i am always curious about electronics and seeing if they can be fixed and repaired.

(Of course this violates your warranty so please only do this on junk controllers if your curious and really don't care if they are broken and honestly don't plan on using them for console use)

I purchased my controllers for use on my computer not on a xbox one because honestly i would never plug a malfunctioning device into any one of my gaming consoles i am not stupid after all.

After connecting all of the controllers that's all 8 of them i noticed the controllers all suffered from the same flaw the A,B,X,Y Buttons wouldn't work on 4 of these controllers i ran a voltage testing meter to the points on the board powered up the controller
and noticed the boards power levels where fluctuating and it couldn't keep constant power to the buttons.

Is there a Solution to fix this problem that Microsoft can fix???

Honestly NO

Here is why Microsoft cannot check every fuse and relay of every controller that comes off of a assembly line and honestly fixing the controller still won't make it better nor will it fix this problem.

See. micro fuses when they go they go and you honestly cannot or should not replace them because you could cause damage to yourself or your console or worse the wrong fuse can lead to a short and your battery pack exploding i wouldn't advise trying to fix
a controller just replace it.

Have you ever considered that it might be your playstyle ruining the controller ? I game daily and I've had my controller for roughly a year and it still works perfectly

 

no my play style is not rough at all i take good care of my console and my consoles accesories and out of know where less then 2 weeks after purchasing a controller it just malfunctions abxy stop working and other issues and i know its not my console because
i can connect a wired controller to it and no problems what so ever and i hate having to use a wired controller especially one that looks like slimer from the ghostbusters threw up all over it's puke green

 

Controllers have a 90day warrenty so if you have issues with it during that time you can just return it to the store or send it off for repair
