Homes Xbox One's

Looking for some assistance please people.

I purchased a second Xbox One yesterday for my boys to play upstairs (mainly because I'm hooked on Fallout at the moment!). I know that if I sign in on their Xbox they can share my Gold membership and my games if I set it as a "Home" Xbox, but now they want
to play Titanfall together and have a party chat. Titanfall is downlaoded through EA Access so both consoles need the rights to play it...is there a way around this other than having to buy a second Gold membership?

A home with several Xbox one's and only one home gold account

The question that I have is... If I purchase 4 xbox one's for my home will the home gold account cover all 4 xbox one's and will the other members of my family be able to use all the features of xbox live at the same time?

Right now I have 4 xbox 360's and a family gold account the xbox is the primary entertainment device in the home.

Swanny did you sort this as i have the same problem with sharing ea access?

 

No ea access only allows the account holder to use content and then have to be signed in

 

Yeah, looks like I have to buy another membership for my son upstairs. Bit annoying and not really a "Home" membership, having forked out for two consoles.....thanks Microsoft!

 

It is a home membership however you have to remember ea is a separate membership and is not ms

They can make their own rules on how they can act

 

Other game subscriptions aren't part of Ms home console settings never are as you pay them seperately

Elders scrolls online even the dungeons and dragons games the accounts memberships are per accoumt

 

I just ran into the same issue on my second Xbox 1. It's frustrating as a loyal customer giving more business by buying a second console you cannot share the one Live account in he same household.

@op you don't need to buy two gold memberships you need to buy two ea passes

The gold account can use gold anywhere including a friends house

Anyone can use gold features on the home console without issue

However ea pass free vault games requires the account holder to be signed in to use the contents

Paid content can be used by any account on the home console as per ea passes faq

So the gold account can be signed in on the 2Nd console and use ea pass but only his profile can do so

In order for your setting to work you need a 2Nd ea pass on the 2Nd profile and only in the home console as they would benefit from the home gold

An ea pass can only be signed in on one profile at a time but that's why you need a 2Nd pass as it's account specific

 

Because the ea pass account holder is signed in on the 2nd console and a profile can only be signed in on one places at once that's why you cannot use the ea pass on their home console
