what's up with homefront 2 is crytek going to show some gameplay or maybe a game trailer does any body know ??

Worst Xbox game you've ever played?

Homefront. Homefront was hyped up to be the next Call of Duty, and if they thought it was going to be the next Call of Duty, they failed. I was having high hopes for Homefront 2, but I guess we won't see a Homefront 2 now that THQ has gone belly-up.

 

As far as I know, I haven't heard anything about there being a sequel to Homefront...

 

The last thing I heard was that Crytek UK was developing it. Crytek purchased Homefront in the THQ sale. In the article, which you should be able to search for, a Crytek UK rep said the game would be 5x bigger. As for if it is still a go I do not know
but they did purchase the rights which would be a waste of money if they did nothing with it.

 

Homefront 2 could be announced at E3. I doubt it, but it is possible. The first Homefront sold well and it was actually one of my favorite recent shooters. I loved the concept of it, but unfortunately it lacked polish. Hopefully Crytek puts off Ryse 2 for
2016 and maybe announce Homefront 2 for 2014/2015.

 

I cant see them buying it and not doing anything with it. So its quite likely an E3 announcement, this year or next

 

Was it really necessary to create multiple threads asking the same question?

 

Picked up the first one for a fiver in Tesco a few weeks back. Haven't had the time to play through it fully yet but I like it. Some of the movement and aiming feels a bit stiff but I like the storyline. Would like to see what Crytek will do with it.
