Hi, I was just wondering if there is anyway to change the 'Home Xbox' after using it three times.

On his Xbox my GT is set up already as My Home Xbox, and his GT is already set up as My Home Xbox on my Xbox...

Not sure I understand but here is the low down...
Your xbox should be his HOME xbox
His xbox should be your HOME xbox.

Anything you guy under your GT YOU will own...even though you xbox is his home xbox....

To be even clearer.....

YOU log into HIS xbox go to settings and make it your HOME xbox
HE logs into YOUR xbox go to settings and make it his HOME xbox

There Is no way to exceed it. The only way is if your account has been compromised and it's Home Xbox Is not the one you possess. You are only allocated three changes per year, for security reasons - seems a bit ridiculous if the last change is to someone
who has is in possession of your account, meaning you cannot change it back to so your own xbox.

This should be more accessible information if you ask me.

 

Why, its either your home xbox or its not, the only reason i can think you would want to change it, is to abuse the shared content functions.

 

Then why bother giving you the option in the first place, never mind three times.

 

You tell me, your the one wanting to use it more than 3 times a year.

You might be moving things in your home and need to occasionally change it so there needs to be the option, but they have to stop people taking the ***, which IMO is quite acceptable.

 

I never said I wanted to change it at all, I'm showing interest in the procedure, I would like to understand why they have bothered in the first place.

 

They implement it because it has implications on how your content is shared (i assume there also other reasons I don't know), they have put limits on to stop abuse of the system.

I also expect this to me more of a feature and be documented over the next few years as digital media facilities change on the system.

(also asking your OP implies you want to change it, you could easily word it differently to change the meaning IMO)
