    Home xbox wont save?


    i want to set my brothers account on my xbox as his home xbox so i can get live and his games. Whenever i set his account as home xbox, it doesnt save and it says i have to set it again.

    Xbox share? Hate to ask again.

    Log into your Xbox under his gamer tag, and go into your settings, and set as home Xbox. Log into his Xbox with your tag, and set it as home. If he has it digitally, you should just return the physical copy as you wont need it.

    Hey I have a problem with my Xbox. Whenever I double tap the home button it wont work. Also when I try and hold the home button it wont bring up the shut down restart or report a problem screen. Also when I am in an app or game, it wont let me go to the
    home when I tap the home button. Please help me

    Hey there DLuxWaffleCakes, we had the right teams look into this. If you see this message regarding being unable to save changes, it means your

    Home Xbox One console     has hit the limit for the number of accounts that have set your console as their Home. In order to set your console as your Home console you would need to have some other account(s) remove that console as their Home.

    You cant. Nothing is transferrable between accounts.

    That being said as long as the Xbox he uses has been set as the home xbox for your account then any account that is on the same system will be able to play the games purchased by your account. Game saves/online progression however wont transfer and cant
    be transferred.

    - May I ask which Xbox model you are using?

    - Is your console enrolled in the Xbox Insider Program?

    - Are you getting any numeric error codes along with the "Error can't save" message? if so, could you share them with me?

    - Do you have any external storage units plugged into your console?

    If the person sets a different Xbox One as their "Home" Xbox then you wont have access to the games. If they change their Home Xbox then you lose access to the games.
