Home Xbox was changed without permission

My brother has been gamesharing with me for a very long time off and on we buy games to share between us so that we can play them together well someone got his information and changed his home xbox a couple times and got it locked out where it can't be
changed again until 7/13/19 this is infuriating as he called support multiple times and was on the phone for over a hour to no avail seems they can't reset the home Xbox change count so we are now unable to gameshare we looked for the survey to no avail and
were told that we're out of luck with it been a xbox customer since the original xbox shame they decided they can't help us spent money on games for us to play together for nothing have to wait almost 5 months to be able to play any of them

We resecured his account and we tried that to no avail its just a shame that this was done and now we're screwed over by it I could see not doing it if someone wanted more to be able to share with someone else but this was because someone else got on the
account without permission and now we're paying for it

Thanks for reaching out to the forums today. I'm sorry to hear this has happened. When you contacted our Live support team did you guys mention the account was compromised? Also, did you guys get the account recovered quickly or did support assist with recovering
the account?

Unfortunately as you were notified and as stated on our
website
: "You can have only one home Xbox at a time. You can share purchased games and Gold with others only on your home Xbox. You get 5 switches per year. Customer support cannot offer additional switches"

Since Customer support cannot offer additional switches. You can try the following: select
Help when you see the message, Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception.

You can also get help with your home Xbox in Xbox Assist. Press the
Xbox button to open the guide, select System >
Xbox Assist, choose My Xbox Assist > Search, and then enter
My Home Xbox.

The biggest thing that irritated me is that they have now decided that once your home Xbox is locked That's it we had just gotten anthem and were looking forward to playing it together when we discovered this issue and now we won't be able to play it together
either until I have the money for a second copy or the time is up and we can switch it back we also had been playing games like forza horizon 4 and call of duty black ops 4 together through this but now I can't access any of those games

Also you should make sure to set up Two Factor Authentication and change the password if you haven't already
