I’ve had the same 1 Xbox series x since launch and I’ve used my 5 switches a long time ago. I recently bought my fiance a series s so we can play together but I didn’t think buying ultimate for her was necessary since I’ve been having ultimate since launch. So I go to make each other our home xbox so I can share my ultimate, but it says I’ve already used my 5 switches. Do they not renew?? Because if they do I haven’t switched in at least a year so I don’t understand why I still have 0 switches left. This whole thing is honestly greedy on Xbox’s part. How long until I can switch again?? And is there a way to get a one time switch pass or something??

Customer support can’t offer additional switches. If you’ve made five home Xbox switches for the year and you need assistance, select Help when
you see the message Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception. If he doesn't see the survey, he'll have to wait until his limit resets on its own.

I know but the reset date has already passed so he should be able to gameshare

Why didn't the password on the account get changed instead of this fighting over the account thing. You get 5 switches for the home console per year and then you have to wait for the first switch to timeout at the 365 day mark.

Help when you see the message, Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception.

We are unable to provide more switches for the home console setting on an Xbox One console.
