Home Xbox switch counter reset?

Usually, it doesn't take that long. However, you can double-check when your Home Xbox switches are reset by going to Settings > Personalization > Home Xbox > picking the “Make this my home Xbox” option. A pop-up will appear and there you can review when the counter will reset.

Maybe I'm wrong and I did it after December 8th, but in the pop up you mention it doesn't tell me when the counter is reset because not having used all the switches it doesn't give me the reset date.

If too much time passes without it resetting, what should I do?

It's unfortunate to know you're out of Home Xbox switches.

I would like to let you know that unfortunately, once you use the last one, it is necessary to wait until the counter resets. Microsoft's support is not capable of adding or resetting the counter.

It sounds like whoever owns the account that you are trying to game share with keeps moving the home console away from your Xbox One. That being said, there is only a limited number of Home Console Switches you will be able to receive before it locks the
home console where it was moved to until the Home Console Counter resets.

If you are talking about resetting your home xbox counter you would need to contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and if your account is eligible they would be the ones to reset that counter for you.
