"Home Xbox" option please help!?

I'm trying to put my xbox as my "home xbox" so I can get my games again but it won't let me, it says Ive used them all up but I never used them ever. If you could give me an extra one or the 3 a year back that would be amazing thanks. My Gamertag is .

"Home Xbox" help

Hi,

i ii need some help please. In my house, myself and my housemate have 4 Xbox one consoles between us. Last week we got them mixed up, and had to play around with the home console settings. now my xbox says "home Xbox" settings can only be changed up to 3
times a year. My main profile, which has been gold for over 7 years, now is without a "home xbox" and thus I cannot access all my games on all my consoles.

Is there a way this setting can be overridden on my account. I have contacted microsoft support, and they said they cannot fix this issue, and an admin on here might be able to. I only need to change the setting 1 more time so get it back on to my main
xbox. If I cannot play my games for a whole year, what point is there is even keeping it?

Also, in future, perhaps a warning on the system about how many changes you have made and how many you have left. I was unaware there was a limit prior to the xbox prompting me I had exceeded it.

Error Code 80070057: I can't get 1 month of gold

Hey guys, I'm a free member, who's initial one month of free XBL gold has expired. I went today to the Xbox live home screen, selected the "Top 5 on Xbox Live" option, then noticed an ad for "One month of Gold for Free". I selected the option, I then had
to enter my billing info, clicked "Confirm Purchase", and it gave me a message saying that it "Can't retrieve info from Xbox LIVE. Please try again later." it then gave the error code in the title. I've restarted my router, I go from router to 360. If you
could help with this, it would be great. I've tried several times to get this to work. Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

you won't need to set your console as Home console to be able to download the games purchased via an account, any digital purchase is connected to the account that initially bought the item, that account should be able to redownload them.

The Home console setting is to share the accounts subscription and digital purchases across the console so that other profiles on that console will be able to use them.

Also be aware that the Home console setting is meant for within the Household, hence why there is a limit to change it. If you do need to set the setting, then you will need to contact Xbox Support like advise by kiralouise27, Xbox Support will determine
if a reset is in order.

When they say one year. It means once every 365 days, this starts counting from the firs time you assign an xbox as a home xbox, not from the 1st of Jan each year. So if you changed first set a console as a home console. (Basically the first time you loaded
up your account on an Xbox One) on the 3rd of March, you'd have to wait until the 3rd of March the following year.

And so it goes on. e.g. If you the assigned another console on the 8th Aug. You'd then have to wait until the same day the following year to make another home Xbox change. I.e, once a year passes, you don't get all three tickets back, only the first one.

Please double-check if your account is successfully set as home Xbox, by signing your account where the game Minecraft was purchased > press the Xbox menu button on your controller > please go to settings > Personalization > My home Xbox > then please check which option do you see.

If you see the option to remove this account as my home Xbox, which means your account is already set as home Xbox.

If you see the option set this account as home Xbox, which means your account is not yet set as home Xbox. If so, please click on Set this account as home Xbox. Once the settings are saved, please sign out of your account and let your daughter's account sign in and try to play the game Minecraft to see if it works.
