    Home Xbox One Reset


    I recently got a new Xbox One and was trying to assign it as my home xbox when I was notified that I had already reset it 3 times in the past year. Is there anyway to reset it or add one more home xbox change? Thanks!

    Xbox One Home Limit reset.

    So, as it says, I was wondering if I could get this reset.

    Been moving my home Xbox a lot more than I should be, it's kinda ran them out.

    This happened due to a bit of back and forth between someone who didn't quite want to lose my account from their Xbox, forcing me to add it back to a console.

    My issue now is that I can't move it to a location that would need the account hooked up as the Home xbox.

    Can this be done or is this not possible?

    You would have to try contacting support. There is no guarantee they will reset it though. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or Contact Us | Xbox Support

    Unfortunately there isn't a way to reset this. You will need to wait for the year to pass before attempting to change your home Xbox again.

    Like bloke said above^ If you have used up your 3 changes within the year, you have to wait 4 months from your last change, to be able to make your new xbox your home!

    As mentioned already,you can try contacting support but since the limit was increased to 5 times per 12 months support will only reset the counter under certain circumstances.

    5 times per 12 months is more than enough.

    In future it's best to start your own thread if you need help.This thread is over 2 years old.
